Robert Earl Keen @ Country Fever

The headliner for Thursdays opening night to the Country Fever music festival was none other than the legendary Robert Earl Keen. I am not sure how to put it into to words and the fact that i was there to see Robert and so many other icons of Texas and Oklahoma music really has'nt sunken in yet, Its surreal sitting here now editing photos i shot of Him thinking i actually finally saw him and his top notch amazing band. Robert has a new record coming out this fall with many guests contributing. Known for writing Texas borderland songs that contain enough imagery and detail to become film scripts or novels with expansive character studies and an irreverent sense of humor, Robert delivers them with his instantly recognizable voice.
